Tintagel Brewery Scoops Two Gold Awards at Taste of the West 2026

It's been a brilliant few weeks for Tintagel Brewery, with a string of Taste of the West awards landing one after another.

Two New Gold Awards

We're delighted to share that our Brewery Shop has been awarded Gold, with the judge praising it in glowing terms:

"The Brewery Shop with the finest views in Cornwall. Tintagel Brewery is a well presented shop, lovely welcoming and knowledgeable staff selling a superb array of delightful Cornish products, in particular their own drinks made on site, you can't get more local than that!"

If you haven't visited yet, the shop is open Monday to Saturday, 12 to 4.30pm.

Our IPA, Uther Pendragon, also picked up Gold in the latest round of judging. At 4.5%, this traditional IPA delivers plenty of hop character alongside a thirst quenching bitterness. Pale malts meet a trio of hops, resulting in a rounded bitterness and a smooth, satisfying finish. You can order Pendragon here.

Building on Recent Success

These latest wins follow a Gold Award for our website in the online retailer category, recognising the work we've put into our digital presence alongside everything happening in the brewery and shop.

It's also been a strong showing across our core range. Merlin's Muddle picked up a Silver Award, while Cornwall's Pride and King Arthur's Ale were both commended.
