Tintagel Brewery is celebrating a major achievement this summer as Caliburn, our flagship Old Ale, has been named a finalist in the Champion Beer of Britain 2025. After winning its category for Brown Ales, Red Ales, Old Ales and Strong Milds at the Great British Beer Festival Winter earlier this year, Caliburn will now compete for the overall title at the Great British Beer Festival in Birmingham this August.

As autumn settles over the Cornish coast, Tintagel Brewery is bringing back one of its most popular seasonal brews: Black Jack Porter.

A dark, full-bodied beer with layers of roasted malt character, Black Jack balances notes of chocolate, coffee and a hint of caramel sweetness with a smooth, satisfying finish. Re-available from November and brewed with Tintagel’s pure spring water and traditional English hops, it’s the perfect pint for colder evenings — whether enjoyed by the fire in a country pub or after a windswept walk along the coast.

Tintagel Brewery is proud to announce that we’ve been named Best Food & Drink Producer at the Cornwall Living Awards 2025 — a fantastic recognition of our work as a small, independent brewery on the North Cornish coast. The award, a striking glass piece crafted by Cornish artist Jo Downs, now has a special place in our brewery.
