Tintagel Brewery x Tintagel Cricket Club
There are worse ways to spend a summer afternoon than at Tintagel Cricket Club. The ground sits up on the coast with the sea behind the bowler's arm, and on a clear evening the sun goes down right over the boundary. It is one of the finest spots for a game of cricket in Cornwall, and we are very pleased to be the club's official beer sponsor for the 2026 season.
Our beer is stocked behind the bar at the club, so if you head up for a match you can watch with a pint of Cornish ale in hand.
A big year for the club
It has been a good season up at Tintagel. The club now has two senior sides playing in the Cornwall Cricket League, with the 1st XI promoted back into Division 2 East and the 2nd XI going up into Division 6 East.
The junior section is growing quickly too. A record number of primary school children signed up to the All Stars and Dynamos programmes this year, and hard ball cricket has returned to the club with a new Under 13s side.
There has been plenty of work off the pitch as well. Renovations over the winter included a new resin patio, which turns out to be exactly the right place to sit with a pint of Tintagel and watch some competitive cricket.
What's on for the rest of the season
There is a good run of events to finish the summer, and everyone is welcome:
Sunday 23 August: Softball tournament
Saturday 29 August: Last game of the season, with live music afterwards
Sunday 13 September: Friendly against Heartaches CC, Sir Tim Rice's touring side
Saturday 19 September: End of season dinner, hosted here at the brewery

Backing our local clubs
Village clubs like this one are the heart of life in North Cornwall. They give people somewhere to go on a Saturday, they get children into sport, and they hold a community together in a part of the world where that matters. We are always glad to support them.
We are especially pleased to be hosting the club's end of season dinner here at the brewery in September, which feels like the right way to round off a good summer.
