Tintagel Brewery Sponsors Harbour Rowing Club

We’re really pleased to share that Tintagel Brewery is now sponsoring Harbour Rowing Club in Boscastle.

Harbour was formed by the community, for the community, with a simple aim: get more local people out on the water. It’s open to anyone aged 12 and over — from complete beginners to experienced rowers racing at the top level of Cornish pilot gig competition. Whether you’re there to compete, get fit or just try something new, there’s a place for you in the boat.

What we admire most about Harbour is that it’s built on people showing up for each other. Early mornings, cold water, teamwork, laughter, the occasional aching shoulder — and usually a well-earned pint afterwards. It’s grassroots sport in its truest sense.

As part of this sponsorship, we’re supporting the club as they continue to grow, including helping bring a brand new training gig onto the water. More equipment means more opportunities — more seats filled, more confidence built, more local people giving rowing a go.

We’re only ten minutes up the road, so this is about backing something local that genuinely makes a difference. Clubs like Harbour don’t just happen; they’re powered by volunteers, commitment and community spirit. If we can help strengthen that in any way, we’re proud to do it.
